Brandi Irby named Volunteer of the Year in Meridian

Brandi Irby was named the 2017 Volunteer of the Year by the Meridian Division chapter of Mississippi Power’s Community Connection.

“When Brandi transferred from the Kemper County Community Connection chapter, she brought many good ideas and suggestions to our chapter,” said Engineering Supervisor Joe Schifano, who serves as the president of the Meridian chapter of Community Connection. “She is very thorough and responds to the board with a sense of urgency.”

  • When the chapter’s secretary left the company mid-year, Brandi stepped in and filled that role for the remainder of the year.
  • She worked tirelessly with sponsors to make the Clay Shoot fundraiser at Camp Binachi a success.
